BEANS VIA EMAIL The new zoning on the central coast has been tough lately with all my school work. I have been scoring some incredible days though. Winter swells hit harder up here than down south and I'm sure this will improve my surfing. Since I've settled in here, filmer Rob Isambert cruised up for some Fall action. Here are some samples of this of the new area. Rob is close to finishing Ring of Fire 2 and I'm pumped to get a personal segment! NICK ARANT Report The waves have been pretty small around So-Cal as of late but NIck still managed to find a few mini barrels.
PASTEY VIA MEXICO Been in puerto for about a week now and the waves have been really fun. We just got a pretty solid swell the last couple of days was probably like 6-10 feet. The swell is just starting to peak so hopefully we'll get some good waves while they last. The new boards are working really well. in the warm waters. I sent you a photo hopefully I will be a little tanner when i get back, but its probably not going to happen. -Pastey

DUBB IS WORLD CHAMP AGAIN Dave Hubbard won the DK division and was crowned for the 4th time world champion. With 3 wins in 3 events, Dave had a 100% achievement this year. “I’m really happy to win all the 3 events that the DK division had. This was a very favorable year for the DK and I think that the division is gaining strength once more.”
